Wareham Golf Club is a Member’s Club renowned for its friendly atmosphere.

Ideally situated on the edge of Wareham Forest, it is a mixture of parkland and heathland with panoramic views across Poole Harbour, Corfe Castle and the Purbeck Hills.

The course, at 5766 yards, is not long, but it has a lot of character, and is an enjoyable challenge for golfers of all levels. This sporting course has 18 holes with a par of 69 and the SSS is 68. Every effort is made to ensure that the course is at its best all times for members and visitors alike. Golf has been played here for almost 100 years, with a full 18 hole course in play since 1990.

The Clubhouse has a pleasant lounge, bar and dining area overlooking the course, plus a small spike bar. Lunches are served daily with a variety of snacks available during the day from sandwiches to full English breakfast.

For visitors we are open from 0930 weekdays and 1300 at weekends and bank holidays. Society bookings are welcome during the week with a discount of at least 10% from the normal green fees for groups of 10 or more.

Wareham Golf Club is actively seeking new members and with an annual subscription of £655 per year it is comparable with other clubs in the area. The benefits of being a member at Wareham are:

· No tee booking system for Members enabling them to just turn up and play the majority of time.

· The ability to sign in up to three guests at any one time at a reduced green fee rate

· Course open from dawn until dusk every day of the year except Christmas Day

· Course rarely closed due to inclement weather

· Regular monthly competitions
