could be forgiven for thinking that the lush fairways belonged to some idyllic rural
setting, rather than a course but a ten-
Squirrels and occasional red deer are less of a hazard but combine to leave a lasting impression of a memorable parkland course maintained to the highest standards. Pollok, since its inception, has thrived on the traditions and etiquette of golf. While it is a private Club for gentlemen golfers, visitors are welcomed when introduced by a member. Cognisant that many visitors visit the city, either on business or leisure, the Club is pleased to welcome visiting groups or parties providing that suitable arrangements are made in advance.
Golf is available to visitors on most weekdays, and is arranged by the Round or Day. Green fees are moderate and provide Temporary Membership, affording visitors full access to the facilities of the clubhouse, including bar and catering services.
Pollok Golf Club is proud of its golfing facilities. The course offers golf for all
standards. From the medal tees the course measures 6,412 yards, however, if you
want something less taxing, it measures 6,022 yards from the forward tees. Ladies
and Juniors play a course measuring 5,645 yards. In addition to the course, Pollok
has practice nets and a practice pitching and putting green adjacent to the first
tee. It also has two practice areas in the middle of the course. At Pollok we recognise
