Since opening in 1996 the course at Mile End has developed rapidly into an extremely popular venue. The total length of the full 18 hole course is 6,233 yards ( par 71 ) for the men and 5,322 yards ( par 72 ) for the ladies. The course covers over 135 acres, and includes a number of water features, notably the 3rd, 8th & 17th holes which have greens protected by large pools. The longest hole is the par 5, 542 yard 14th, complete with it's two-tiered green. Many visitors comment favourably on the superb design & "layout" of the course, as well as the fact that it really does offer something for golfers of all abilities. The facilities are regularly enjoyed by members & visitors who make full use of our modern clubhouse including catering facilities which are open 7 days a week. A Floodlit Driving Range, putting green & other practice facilities are available with Tuition supplied by PGA Qualified Staff. We are also home to one of Shropshire’s most well stocked Golf Shops offering equipment for all abilities & budgets.
