Kilspindie is a hidden gem, lying between the village of Aberlady, the Aberlady Bay Nature Reserve, with 5 holes bounded by the waters of the Firth of Forth and the only way in is by a single track, private road - 17 miles from Edinburgh and 40 minutes from the airport.

The course, with deceptive greens and well-defined fairways,  is a good challenge of golf whatever your handicap.  Kilspindie hosts an alternative Ryder Cup, biennially, with the 12-man teams playing with pre-1930’s hickory-shafted clubs!

Signature hole is the 8th, a par 3, playing around and over a sandy bay – the beach being out of bounds.  Kilspindie is a traditional Scottish seaside links of 5,502 yards, par 69, designed by Ross and Sayers and latterly  Willie Park. There is an array of bird life to be seen and heard, on the course and along the shoreline, as well as basking seals on the rocks and sand bank.  Kilspindie Golf Club is known locally, nationally and internationally for its welcome and friendliness.

Something else – we have 6 varieties of gin and some 60 different malt whiskies behind the bar! We operate a one price policy ie a visitor is charged exactly the same as a Member, a small gesture but something which many appreciate.
