Eyemouth Golf Club has a spectacular 18 hole golf course situated on the rugged east coast of Scotland featuring some of the most scenic and interesting cliff top holes in Scottish golf. The course also provides challenging holes and exciting contrasts to the other inland courses.

The now famous 6th hole was voted “Britain’s Most Extraordinary Golf Hole”. It’s a formidable and challenging par 3 played across a vast gully often with the North Sea waves crashing below leaving little room for error (see picture above far right)

Founded in 1894, Eyemouth Golf Club was originally only an 9 hole course however in August 1997, £1.3 million was invested into a brand new 18 hole golf course complete with a spectacular panoramic club house. The course now offers 18 holes. Par 72. 6,472 yds. SSS:72  Links and  greens constructed to USPGA specifications.

The magnificent new clubhouse presents breathtaking panoramic views over the North Sea and all 18 holes on the course.  The clubhouse provides excellent private changing facilities for the visiting golfer, a well equipped Professionals shop and full catering facilities. The clubs Bay View restaurant, which overlooks Eyemouth Harbour and its busy fishing fleet, is renowned locally for the quality of food.

It offers great value for money with an extensive menu of local fresh fish, shellfish and home cooking being a main feature of the menu. The clubhouse certainly deserves the reputation as being one of the most spectacular in Scotland.

Eyemouth Golf Club is the “First Golf Course in Scotland” that visitors will come across on their way north from England and it is one that should not be missed by the enthusiastic golfer. The club welcomes visitors and offers a variety of special packages for parties.

In the summer of 2009 the golf club received a £10,000 ‘Awards For All’ grant which has been used to build an indoor training area complete with video analysis. This facility, along with Free Golf for Primary School children,  has enabled the club to run a highly successful Club Golf program aimed at helping develop young golfers and increase junior participation in golf.
