Set amongst some of the most scenic countryside in Fife, close to St Andrews “The Home of Golf”, Elmwood is an 18 hole course, 5951 yards long with a par of 70 and standard scratch of 68, where the greens and tees were built to the highest standard with excellent drainage properties which ensures play all year round on a full course.The layout of the course is strategic which provides a fair but enjoyable challenge for all levels of golfer .
Elmwood golf is unique in more ways than one. We are owned by Elmwood College which is the leading golf education training college in Europe where we train students in the art of greenkeeping, golf studies, golf course and golf facility management. We provide an excellent facility for our all our golf and restaurant customers and also pass on our skills to up and coming managers of the future.
We are not a members club but we do offer season ticket membership for those who wish to play regularly and allow Elmwood Golfing Society to have it’s base with us and play all their competitions. This also allows us to be open to the public at all times and to encourage Visitors / Visiting Societies and Non Golfers to visit us and in particular taste the culinary delights in Renowned Fairways Restaurant which provides a grandstand view over the 18th green .
