Instituted in 1893 and established in the Giffnock area of Glasgow’s south side,
Eastwood moved to its present location in 1937. It remained largely unaltered until
2003 when, following the construction of the extended M77/GSO link, the club had
8 holes designed by Graeme Webster. All of the greens are built to USGA specification
and the course is a most enjoyable and testing track through rolling countryside,
appealing to golfers of all standards. While Eastwood has over 900 members, it welcomes
visitors and offers excellent facilities, whether it be on the course or practice
ground, within Stuart Wilson’s Pro Shop, or within the clubhouse where there are
changing areas, catering and refreshments available. Eastwood has a great reputation
and the Eastwood Quaich, which is held annually, can boast a large number of Scotland’s
finest golfers among its previous winners, including many Scottish internationalists,
Scottish Amateur Champions and Walker Cup players. We have a limited number of vacancies
for membership and are always pleased to welcome new members. Why not pay a visit
