The club was founded on the 12th July 1913 and, in 1988, celebrated its 75th Jubilee.
The provisional plan of the course was one of nine holes with a playing length of 2520 yards. Today, however it boasts a challenging but enjoyable 18 holes over a total of 5338 yards.
Often described as an undulating tree lined moorland course which has in the past proved challenging to some players, specially with the long par 5 at the 3rd hole.
The club is delighted to accept visiting parties by prior arrangement with the secretary.

Includes 9 holes in the morning, 18 holes in the afternoon.
Coffee & biscuits on arrival, soup and sandwiches at lunchtime and a 3 course evening meal
